Voiceover Tommy

Welcome to Voiceover Tommy! 🎙️

I'm Tommy Cox. Voice actor, storyteller, and a guy finally chasing a lifelong dream.

Follow my journey into professional voice acting. The auditions, rejections, wins, mistakes, and everything nobody warned me about!

We'll explore all things VO: commercials, automotive voiceover, narration, home studios, recording gear, demos, performance, industry insights, and conversations with the pros.

You'll also find my documentary series, *So... You Think You Want to Be a Voice Actor?*, where we discover what it really takes to break into this business.

No overnight success promises. No pretending I have all the answers. Just real experiences, practical lessons, Gen X humor, and hopefully plenty of laughs.

Whether you're exploring voiceover or chasing a dream of your own, you're welcome here.

Everybody tells you to follow your dreams. Nobody tells you how.

Let's figure it out together!
