VASTLAB EXPERIMENTAL (VLX)

VASTLab builds community with experimental Visual, Audio, Story and Technology arts.

VLX (VASTLab Experimental) is our international short film series, running since 2019 in Los Angeles, Chicago and Durham. Each season is a numbered arc of distinct programs pairing curated experimental shorts with LIVEscore: select films scored live by musicians performing in the room.

Donation-based and artist-first. No submission fees, no door charge, no pay-to-play.

Here: program trailers, LIVEscore performances, and filmmaker Q&As.
