Vietnam Debrief - Graham Pike

I'm Graham Pike. I taught American history to teenagers for thirty-five years, and every year I watched the textbook give the Vietnam War four pages and move on. Four pages, for a war that took three boys from my own street and sent back two. 

So when I retired, I started collecting everything those four pages left out, the after-action reports, the declassified records, the letters home, and the accounts of the men who lived it. 

The Vietnam Debrief is where that collection gets opened, one story at a time: the jobs nobody wanted, the weapons that changed the men who carried them, the battles that never made the evening news, and the truths that took fifty years to surface.
