VHSera Official

VHSera is a unique musical blend where American and Finnish culture meet in an energetic mix of rock and pop. This Silicon Valley quartet was formed in 2012 when like-minded musicians Vesa Heiskanen, Ari Valtanen, and Harri Salomaa found each other. The band took its name from the initial letters of the members’ surnames, and when guitarist Ari Flink later joined the group, “era” was added to the name. A new era began, while the band’s influences still draw from the VHS video age. Heikki Savolainen acted as the production engineer on majority of our songs, overseeing the recording and technical production. There was no external producer; the band made all artistic choices and managed the budget and financing.
