The Velvet Record Co.

Welcome to the official home of vintage Easy Listening background music—featuring premium archival collections from The Velvet Record Co. and Bargain Basement Records.

We specialize in unearthing rare, mid-century instrumental gems designed to provide the perfect relaxing soundtrack for your daily routines. From sun-drenched 1960s retro surf guitar and upbeat instrumental garage soul, to mellow parlor jazz and cozy morning orchestral strings, our wordless, hour-long loops are carefully arranged to accompany slow living, deep focus, and creative hobbies at home.

Pour a drink, put on a pot of tea, and settle into your favorite armchair. New oddly specific records are unburied from our bargain bins regularly.
