VAT with Dr Rouf

This channel is on Value Added Tax (VAT) system of Bangladesh. We shall, in shaa Allah, upload short videos on various aspects of VAT. Keeping in view of the needs of all concerned i.e., the policy makers, policy administrators, policy adjudicators, manufacturers, traders, importers, service providers and consultants, we shall gradually upload videos on various aspects of VAT. We hope, if anybody keeps eye on this channel, he or she will be well-educated and trained on various aspects of the VAT system of Bangladesh as a skilled professional badly needed in our system. I have been working with the VAT system of Bangladesh for about 26 years. I have an understanding that VAT can hugely contribute to the national exchequer. We need to tap the potentials of the economy for collection of VAT. We need to develop a professional community for running a standard VAT system that can generate enough domestic revenue to finance projects for achieving Vision 2041. This is an effort to that end.
