Adam Bence Vas / Hammond organist, composer

Hammond organist, composer and painter based in Warsaw.

I transform words, images, numbers and sounds from the street into music that changes every night. My playing combines the dynamic range of gospel with asymmetric rhythms inspired by Hungarian modern classical music and some of the folk traditions of the Balkans.

Composition is never the final form. Every performance adds something new.

This channel is where I share that process: transcriptions, analysis, live sessions, and everything in between.

New album in progress.
