Vanished Record

Real mysteries from history, told like a thriller.

Vanished Record tells true stories nobody fully solved: lost aircraft and ships, people who vanished without a trace, and the evidence they left behind.

How it's made: Vanished Record is a one-person channel. I choose the cases and review every film. Each one is built from published sources (archives such as the U.S. National Archives and the Smithsonian, museum pages, books and academic papers), and the main sources are listed under every video. Disputed claims are marked as disputed. The narration uses an AI voice, and reconstructed voices of real people are labelled as recreations. Pictures are archive images, maps and documents, credited in the description.

New full-length investigations every week, Shorts most days. If we get something wrong, tell us in the comments or at vanishedrecord.contact@gmail.com and we'll correct it and pin the correction.
