VALID is an independent awareness and education initiative focused on hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS), Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (HSD), invisible illnesses, and patient validation.

Our videos explore the science, the lived experience, and the challenges of conditions that are often misunderstood or difficult to see. We provide evidence-based education, research summaries, practical insights, and thoughtful discussions for patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

We believe that symptoms do not need to be visible to be real. At the same time, we promote scientific literacy, critical thinking, and intellectual honesty. We discuss what is known, what remains uncertain, and what current research means in everyday life.
