Vaccine Hesitancy Podcast

The Vaccine Hesitancy Youtube channel aims to provide empirical background for philosophical research on the rationality of vaccine hesitancy. Interviews are based on two online workshops held in 2022, one on the psychological and sociological drivers of hesitancy in different groups in the UK, the other on the workings of online vaccine misinformation. The philosophical questions as to the rationality or reasonableness of hesitancy require an understanding of the actual reasons that people are vaccine hesitant, as well as insights into public health. Eventually interviewees will include philosophers discussing criteria for rational, reasonable and unreasonable vaccine hesitancy.
