Uttarakhand Welfare Association UK

UWA (UK) is a UK based non-political, not for profit organisation formed with the aim of helping/ providing assistance to UK Uttarakhandis . To help out pahadis to find out better job/career opportunities through community interaction, to know one another through gatherings- atleast twice in a year around Diwali & Holi time. 
  
UWAUK is created with an ambition to promote the rich religious and cultural heritage of Uttrakhand. It is an effort to create a platform to educate particularly, the new generation which are born and fostered outside India about the background, they are from. This is an effort to blend the young people of Uttrakhand Community with the qualities,  Uttrakhandis are known for, so that they can feel proud being Uttrakhandi. 

This organisation will try to bring together Uttrakhandi in UK, to create a strong community.
