USAID Kenya and East Africa

The Kenya and East Africa Mission is the second largest in the world and comprises three operating units – Kenya, Somalia and East Africa. Through our implementing partners, through whom we provide development assistance, we work to end extreme poverty and promote resilient, democratic, secure and prosperous societies around the world. 

We work with a wide range of partners, including local and international non-governmental organizations, local civil society organizations, private businesses, public international organizations and government agencies.
