Urban Movement Arts Philly

Urban Movement Arts (UMA) recognizes the body as the fulcrum of communication, creativity, and wellness. Our programs and classes, ranging from Yoga to Lindy Hop, work to fortify physical consciousness, bringing out the joy of discovering new ways of being and moving in the world. UMA has lots of Hip Hop flavor -- house, breaking, commercial, waacking-- and the soul of a holistic martial arts community. We are dedicated to supporting strength, flexibility and overall physicality to better promote creativity and adaptability in life. We welcome adults of all ages and experience levels. We guide movers and dancers to develop true connection to community and style.
