Upper Galilee Choir - 40+ Years & Still Singing

For 40 years the Upper Galilee Choir has met in the Hula valley, between the Naftali Hills and the Golan Heights.  Every week, the 50 choristers leave their fields, vineyards, workshops and families for rehearsals at the Clore music center.

Under the exacting baton of its conductor Ron Zarchi, the choir has brought its wide-ranging repertoire of classical, Christian & Jewish liturgical and Israeli music to audiences all over Israel and abroad.

Thanks to its indefatigable administrator, Amotz Oz, and the patronage of the Upper Galilee Regional Council, the Upper Galilee Choir looks forward to another 40 years making music.

מקהלת הגליל העליון חוגגת השנה 40 שנות שירה והרמוניה. למרגלות החרמון בין שדות עמק החולה והרי נפתלי,  50 זמרים וזמרות חובבי מוסיקה ושירה מיישובי הגליל העליון, הגולן והסביבה, מגיעים מידי שבוע מהשדות והכרמים, ממקומות העבודה וטיפול בילדים ונכדים לחזרות במרכז קלור בכפר בלום. המקהלה מופיעה בקונצרטים בכל רחבי הארץ עם רפרטואר של מוסיקה קלאסית, לטורגיקה נוצרית ויהודית ושירי
