Unrepresented Litigant

Center of Excellence for the Self-represents in Family Court . More and more of us are unable to afford to retain lawyers in matters of family law. In life changing matters of imperative matters of parenting time, access to our beloved children, our fundamental rights as parents, fundamental rights of children to loving parents. Being unrepresented is a grueling, harsh reality. Yet it is a labor of love. We got to stand up and be assertive for the rights of our children. These are chronicles and resources that I have used, developed and applied to my own journey in negotiating the harsh challenge of the high stakes demands of family court.  When I started this journey I did not know anything, absolutely everything hardly ever made any sense.
