My name is Herman Liesemeijer. At the beginning of 2015, I discovered at the age of 47 that my mother has a narcissistic personality disorder. That was right after I broke off contact with her because she didn't want to talk about the mental abuse during my childhood.

Since then I have amassed a lot of information about narcissism. In 2017 I started blogging about this topic in my native language Dutch.

In 2018 I made a drastic decision: I let the past rest and decided to focus entirely on making the rest of my life more beautiful. That's when I got out of victimhood.

Nowadays I also help fellow sufferers to step out of victimhood and make their lives more beautiful. In addition to this YouTube channel, the website offers various tools for making the step from victim to survivor (see links).
