Unlocked Professional: AI and the Future of Hiring

Unlocked Professional is a weekly show about how AI is actually landing inside real hiring teams. Not the vendor pitch version.

I'm Jeff Midland. I spent 17 years building and managing talent programs for Meta, Google, and other major tech companies as a primary staffing partner. $100M+ in program spend. I managed the recruiters, the strategy, and the budget.

Every week I sit down with the people doing this work right now. TA leaders, heads of people, talent engineering teams, and the founders building the tools they're being sold. We get into what teams are really deploying, what it took to get through security and legal, what broke, and what they'd do differently.

If you own hiring somewhere and you're trying to separate what works from what's being marketed to you, this is the right place.

New full episodes weekly. Clips in between.
