Under the Blue Line

In 2019 we developed a unique marine biology curriculum, teaching 6th graders at John Adams Middle School in LA: using interactive lesson plans and low-tech VR to immerse students into our underwater world. In 2020 we were awarded a Women Divers Hall of Fame grant to further develop the VR portion of this program, and are excited to announce our San Diego launch in 2022!

By capturing 3D footage in the coral reefs and kelp forests, we are excited to give students a chance to immerse themselves and connect with the local coastline. Both access to the ocean and access to education are a privilege; through this program, submerging kids "under the blue line” that is our ocean’s surface, we hope to change that.

On this page we will be posting raw footage as we learn more about cutting and producing 3D/VR videos, so tune in if you're dive deprived, and dive with us "under the blue line" !!
