UnaSpenser

UnaSpenser is a singer, songwriter and a storyteller. After a 45-year hiatus from music making, they joined Ladies Rock Camp Boston, a feminist empowerment music camp, to model for their daughter the value of leaving your comfort zone in order to spark your creativity. It’s been a deep dive since then, into songwriting, music production, and learning the power of their voice. Their wealth of life experience leads to a richness of musical perspective, despite the lack of a formal music education. UnaSpenser’s music is an eclectic mix of world instruments, electronic beats and powerful, ethereal vocals, with lyrics that are visions of how we can authentically connect to one another with care, such that we can end cycles of harm and begin to generate a better world.
