UIC Simulation and Integrative Learning Institute

Established in 1987, the Simulation and Integrative Learning Institute (SAIL) at the University of Illinois at Chicago was one of the first clinical performance assessment centers in the world. For 29 years, we have facilitated simulation experiences for thousands of healthcare students and professionals using standardized patients, high fidelity mannequins, procedural skills task trainers and innovative virtual reality. With patient safety being one of our driving motivators, we are experts in creating simulations for instruction and assessment as well as for groundbreaking research.
