UCU School of Research and Post-Graduate Studies

The Uganda Christian University (UCU) School of Research and Post-Graduate Studies (SRPGS) free, optional seminar on writing and research was started in 2015 as a Uganda-USA collaborative to improve the quality and completion rate of post-graduate student dissertations. The face-to-face seminar model involved lectures and individualized coaching to supplement curriculum and hands-on skill learning from various faculty areas as well as the assistance by UCU assigned supervisors. For the first time in September 2020 and as a result of education institution lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the lecture portion of the seminar is being offered on line.  

In addition to YouTube videos featuring 16 subject matter experts, students enrolled in the UCU seminar will have access to related materials/resources and assessments and opportunities to interact in Zoom sessions. Successful completion will yield e-badges and certificates.
