Stix and Twiggs

Making miniatures is the most addictive and satisfying hobby on the planet. You can make just about anything you want in miniature. From the time my grandmother made me a dollhouse for Christmas one year, I've been enchanted and amused by things in miniature. The dollhouse was made from paper and leftover scraps so it didn't last too long.

But what did last for me was the idea that you can make anything you want in miniature if you use your imagination and have enough patience to give it a try and a desire to learn. You can create your own little worlds. So I've been making miniatures most of my adult life and I enjoy it more than anything.

You can create with just about any material from cardboard, fabric, polymers and clay to sticks and twigs. I have a lot of hobbies I enjoy but miniatures never get boring because you never run out of ideas when you can just look around and make whatever you see into something tiny and cute for everyone to enjoy!
