A little about me:  
I was an energetic wife and hockey mom of two boys when my life changed forever after a fall on my basement stairs. My experience with unethical medical professionals—and witnessing the exclusivity of the medical "brotherhood"—left me caught in a cycle of surgical complications, including a surgical tool left in my abdomen. This cycle soon spiraled into addiction & relentless chronic pain. I became determined to escape the grip of prescription pain meds & depression—and I did. Now, as a Certified Health Coach, specializing in chronic pain, I am passionate about helping others on their healing journeys by connecting them with authentic stories and real support.
