ICU & ER nurse | trauma survivor | USMC veteran suicide widow | special needs mama | antique soul

This is a space for living life, after life breaks you open.

For honest conversations about trauma, PTSD, grief, mental health, and the long road back to yourself.

I grew up in the Midwest with muddy feet and long porch evenings, where life unfolded slowly and taught me that connection, stories, and presence still matter most.

After years working in psychiatric nursing, emergency medicine, and the cardiac ICU— after losing my (USMC) husband to suicide—and a PTSD diagnosis—I stopped believing healing was about fixing.

It’s about staying.

It's about learning how to live inside your body again.

Its about finding peace after tauma.

You don’t have to be okay to belong here.
Whatever you’re carrying, you’re not alone.

🕯 Staying. Healing. Becoming—one authentic conversation at a time.
