trance[]control

trance[]control is a Swedish trance and electronic music project, formed in 1997 by Alexander Carlborg and Andreas Wennersköld.

In 1999 the duo released The.Demo.CD, featuring its best-known track Atomic Dance Explosion, and the debut album Beyond 2000, both via MP3.com. Chicago's Strictly Hype Recordings then signed the duo: Beyond 2001: The Resurrection came out in 2000 on Sunrise Recordings and sold over 20,000 copies in the US and as many in Canada. The vinyl singles Health Warning and trance[]control followed on Flash Traxx, and the album OUT THERE: The Sonic Trip in 2002.

In 2002 the duo ran Mission 2002: a new track written, mixed and mastered every week for 52 weeks and released in real time, resulting in three albums.
