TLC Dyslexia Connect

Welcome to TLC Dyslexia Services.
I’m Thora Cook, a Masters Level Certified Barton Tutor and parent of dyslexic children. I help students, families, and adults understand dyslexia and learn how to work with their brains — not against them.
This channel is for: • Parents navigating a new dyslexia diagnosis
• Students who feel capable but discouraged
• Educators seeking practical, research-based insight
• Adults with dyslexia looking for clarity and confidence
Here you’ll find: • Clear explanations of dyslexia
• Reading, spelling, and learning strategies
• Support for dyslexia-related math, writing, and handwriting
• Encouragement grounded in real experience
Dyslexia is not a lack of intelligence — and progress is possible with the right support.
You’re welcome here.
