ThugBaby, born Ronald Thompson II on October 25, 1998 in Chicago, IL USA, was raised in the crime-ridden trenches of the Wild 100s Roseland neighborhood. By his teenage years ThugBaby had turned to a life of crime and become an active gang member of the notorious Black Disciple Nation a.k.a BD. In early 2020, years after countless run ins with the law and gang rivalry, ThugBaby turned to music to help cope with his PTSD. After listening to some earlier tracks from ThugBaby, Jeff and Manny took interest and soon after, he was welcomed into the Born Leaders family.
