Thomas Explains

I’m Thomas, a scientist, engineer and educator who studied Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge.

I’ve always been fascinated by how things work. This channel is where I break difficult ideas down and build them back up in a way that actually makes sense.

The goal is simple: understand the idea, not just memorise the answer.

Here, I cover a wide range of STEM subjects, from GCSE and A-Level to more advanced university-level topics.

I have over 5,000 hours of teaching experience and have taught students from around the world, including students preparing for university admissions and science Olympiads. Some of my students have gone on to study at Cambridge, Imperial and Oxford.
