Founded by songwriter Thomas Duxbury, a founding member of the Bonnie Doon Records community, Thomas Duxbury and New Mother Nature is a garage rock project blending garage rock, blues rock, psych, & classic rock influences into a sound that's loud, honest, and built for the stage.

Built on a grassroots foundation and a passion for keeping the live element of music alive, the project has shared the stage with artists including The Commoners, The Dirty Nil, Sam Coffey and the Iron Lungs, The Tea Party, The Guess Who, and many more. The band has also appeared at festivals across Canada and the UK, including NXNE30, Concession Streetfest, and the Squamish International Film Festival.
