"Thomas Tutoring: Courses in Critical Thinking, founds its teaching methods upon inspiration from the Montessori method, which focuses on giving students access to a holistic, innovative, individualistic, and self-directed approach to learning fueled by curiosity, critical thinking, and an exchange of ideas between both student and teacher. I have been tutoring for six years and have worked with kids of all ages, kindergarten to college. I have taught subjects from algebra, AP history; to SAT/GED test preparation. I also teach executive functioning and focus strategies for students with ADHD or chronic mental illness. My promise as a tutor is to meet you wherever you are as a student and transform you into a creative, independent thinker."
