Third Fret Official

An alternative-rock indie band formed in January 2019 by five young and passionate musicians who all share the same inherent love and appreciation for real music. This all-Filipino group plays original ‘Pinoy’ songs that aim to inspire their audience through their raw musical talents packaged in an authentic emotional pinoy rock vibe. The band’s name was influenced by its Lead Vox Adrian De Guzman and his practice of writing songs with a strum and a capo clipped on the ‘third fret’ of his guitar for a better and more crisp compositional sound to work with.

After only a few meet-ups and rehearsals, the band got off the ground pretty quickly and has recorded two original singles in a short span of time with a couple of new releases underway. With more intense collaborations and genuine musical expression, Third Fret looks forward to bringing more original content that doesn’t only strike a chord with all music lovers but also serves as inspiration to other aspiring young musicians.
