Thief Lane Band

Thief Lane are Molly Bobroff and Matthew Day. A London indie folk duo built around the tension between two voices.
Their songs don't resolve neatly. They sit in the uncomfortable middle ground between knowing something isn't right and choosing to stay anyway. Molly's voice carries hope in places it has no business being. Matt's is quieter, rougher. Together they don't harmonise so much as argue in the same key.

No trends, no polish for its own sake. Just songs that are honest about what they're about.

For fans of First Aid Kit and The Civil Wars.
