The Zahra Trust Canada

The Zahra(s) Trust Canada® is the charity arm of The Zahra Trust in the UK which was established 15 years ago, in 2008. We launched as a registered charity in Canada in 2020, fully compliant with the CRA under charity number (73174 6681 RR0001).

Formerly known as The Zahra Foundation, The Zahra(s) Trust Canada has provided thousands of people across hundreds of communities worldwide with relief and development aid since its inception.

We aim to provide impactful aid, serving marginalized and impoverished communities in various countries worldwide. Thus, individuals and communities are self-sufficient, so they are no longer required to rely on support and assistance.

Our expert teams are on the ground across our areas of operation all year round, and we are poised to respond to emergencies (such as natural disasters) swiftly, provide short-term aid (food and water) and develop long-term sustainable projects such as housing, education and medical facilities.
