Welcome to TheWord2Song. I started this project for one reason: Love for His Word. Scripture says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17). My desire is for His Spirit to dwell within us, and for His Word to meet us in everyday moments—on the commute, on a walk, in the kitchen—until the truth overflows.

Along the way I was inspired by The Psalms Project, and I felt led to keep every lyric 100% Scripture. When existing publishers wouldn’t allow full-text usage for lyrics, I created the Veritable King James Version (VKJV)—a faithful, modern-English update in a reverent King James style—so the songs could present God’s Word without compromise.
