The Wood Project

Beauty beneath the bark – creating uniquely turned projects from local and exotic wood.

Originally believing I wasn’t a creative person, I began turning wood in 2021 and have since developed a passion for creating and sharing these projects. As art forms, their beauty is best appreciated when shared and so The Wood Project was started. Intended as an artistic outlet, this channel captures my woodturning projects through long-form immersive videos to inspire and soothe. Whether the item ends up as a commission, becomes a gift, or is repurposed as another flowerpot for my wife, here I can highlight the natural beauty of the colours, grain and process.

Please share your thoughts and comments. If you’re interested in any of the projects, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

May your tools always be sharp.
