The Vinyl Inch

My love for vinyl records started when I worked in a record shop on a Saturday when I was only 14 years old in the 1980s. I got paid in vinyl records and my collection started from that time.

I started collecting soul and funk records at first but as the years go by i got into many different types of music. I’m still learning today. I love 12” single vinyl records mostly due to having longer versions and other mixes.

Today I still collect what I may have missed years ago, if I find a better copy of what I have I always replace, I sell now & then, give to family and friends and also donate to charity shops.
