The Vascular Channel

The Vascular Channel is hosted by the Augustin laboratory at the European Center for Angioscience (ECAS) of Heidelberg University and the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg, Germany (www.angiolab.de). It is intended to serve as an information and education channel highlighting recent discoveries and developments in the field of vascular biology. Using simple language to feature oftentimes complicate biological processes, the Vascular Channel wants to alert the lay public as much as the scientific community of the importance of blood vessel functions for human health. It will feature the work of scientists at the European Center for Angioscience (ECAS; www.angioscience.de) and the Collaborative Research Center (CRC)-1366 “Vascular Control of Organ Function” (www.sfb1366.de). Beyond ECAS and CRC1366, the Vascular Channel is open to the wider vascular biology community at large. Thus, please contact us, if you would like to post your vascular biology-related work.
