Innerscapes is a discovery process expressing inner landscapes to bring what is unknown and unspoken to the light of awareness.
I've been a teacher for many years. In this series I do not instruct or explain, I simply present my approach and offer it to those who want to watch, learn or be inspired.
I paint to access inner spaces in my being, places that are not spoken or uncovered in my other daily activities.  When the inner and outer are in harmony, the project manifests as beauty .When there is conflict between any part of inner or outer it shows up in the paint.  Witnessing this on the canvas allows me to expand my perspective.  I paint to express a range of realities from simple to complex, coherence to total chaos. Honoring these places by giving them space with humor, skill, awareness and dedication is evolution.
