Most of what you’ve been told about self-improvement is built on a false premise: that you are broken, and that the right amount of work will fix you. This channel is about what happens when you stop believing that.

I’m Lacey K. Kelly—a therapist, writer, and the author of The Process of Unbecoming, Already Human, and God Is A Dirty Word.

Here, we talk about the parts of human experience that the self-help industry tends to get wrong. We explore the idea that your adaptations, your defenses, and your patterns are not evidence of damage—they are evidence of intelligence. You don’t need to dismantle yourself. You just need to understand the software you’re running.

On this channel you’ll find:
• Full episodes of The Unbecoming Hub Podcast
• Short essays and concepts on human adaptation
• Guided reflections to help you orient your nervous system to the present

You are not a project to be fixed. You are a living system to be understood.
