The Tale Caravan | Folk Tales

One country. One tale. One minute.

The Tale Caravan is a journey around the world through folk tales. Two young brothers travel with a caravan, stop in a new country every time and listen to a local tale, retold as a short animated film.

Every episode is based on a published collection of folk tales, and the source is named in the description. Folk tales often cross modern borders: "a tale from this country" helps you find your way on the map, it does not claim that the story was born only there.

The world is full of different stories. But we are all part of the same story.

Our route: 195 countries.
