The Surgeon Inventor

The Surgeon Inventor is home to The Name on the Instrument: A Field Guide for the Surgeon Inventor, by Alexander C. Ebner.

For surgeons who have sketched a better instrument on the back of an OR schedule and wondered what comes next. Videos cover turning a clinical idea into a real device: protecting the idea, prototyping, regulatory paths, manufacturing, licensing, and getting your name on the instrument.
