The mission of the Office of the Presidential Envoy on Health and Nutrition is to lead, coordinate, and advocate for transformative health and nutrition initiatives that improve the lives of Somali citizens. Our work will lead to a significant reduction in child malnutrition rates in Somalia. Guided by equity, resilience, and community-centered care principles, we strive to build a robust healthcare system capable of addressing the country’s immediate needs while paving the way for sustainable development and long-term well-being.

We envision a Somalia where everyone has access to quality healthcare and nutrition services regardless of their circumstances. We aim to create a healthier, more resilient nation by reducing health disparities, eradicating malnutrition, and strengthening Somalia’s healthcare infrastructure through collaborative partnerships and innovative solutions.
