THE SOCIAL CONTRACT: Conversations in Civics and Civility podcast was created by author George S. Corey & the artist CLEO. It continues the conversation started in Corey’s book Presidential Conversations, inspired & illustrated by CLEO.

This podcast is for political junkies who might have forgotten just how fun (& often comical) politics & Washington's political figures can be! A lot of what you’ll hear will be a fictional, satirical sendup—in the vein of SNL—of the hot-button issues of the day. But sometimes we’ll get a little more serious, because we take our name from something we on the creative team all take seriously—the social contract. What is the social contract? The idea that citizens in a society work together for everyone’s social benefit. Think “we the people.”
