The Sit-Intifada

Since the 17th October 2023, Palestinian community members and their allies in Naarm have been sitting in protest on the Steps of Parliament House. This protest is called the Sit-Intifada, and takes place on unceded Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Boon Wurrung lands. The Sit-Intifada keeps visible the daily realities of the genocide and calls for members of the public and the state government to divest from their moral and material support of the zionist regime.

This channel is a short film archive from the last 12 months of grassroots Palestinian organising in Naarm and the Sit-Intifada acts as a central hub of connection and action.
