The Yarden with David Sabio

Hi Everyone. I'm David Sabio, a gardener outside Raleigh, NC. I bought my home in 2001 with no intentions of gardening. I have no background, family history , or education in gardening or plants. I am an artist, so I certainly have a creative side. That aspect was eventually a catalyst to gardening once I planted my first Japanese maple a year after living in my home. From there it really grew, quite literally, as I transformed my entire property into an ornamental stroll garden - my living canvas. Most of what I learned was hands on experience, observation & plenty of mistakes in my own dirt, but I turned to valuable resources - books, articles, garden visits & talks with other gardeners to become the successful gardener I am today. I hope to share this wonderful creation of mine and maybe even impart some wisdom I've learned along the way. I definitely hope to inspire you & get you thinking about how to creatively develop the garden of your dreams. So please, come stroll with me.
