The Robot Bureau

The Robot Bureau decodes physical AI, humanoid robots and the Chinese companies building them, for business leaders in Europe.

Every month we take the biggest headlines in robotics, from Unitree and AgiBot to Bosch and Schaeffler, find the real story behind each one, and pitch them to each other. Then we decide which story makes the front page, which is a nothing burger, and which gets spiked.

Rogier is a European founder who spent 15 years building companies in China. Lei is a Chinese founder who spent 15 years building companies in Europe. We read the Chinese sources, sit in the Shenzhen showrooms and the German boardrooms, and translate what each side gets wrong about the other.

You have seen the demo videos and the robot Olympics. This channel is about what is happening behind them: who is shipping, who is buying, who is on the bill of materials, and what it means if you run a business in Europe.

New episode monthly, plus interviews from the ground.
