AI Micro Fiction | The River's Ledger

California, 1849. A man walks out of the gold fields with a parrot on his shoulder, and nobody who sees him agrees on what he is.

A thief. A ghost. A man with a debt he can't pay and a bird that won't stop talking.

THE RIVER'S LEDGER is an episodic postwestern thriller in the style of Sergio Leone - extreme close-ups, long silences, and men who say less than they know. Every chapter is two minutes, generated vertical, and built to be watched twice.

Some of what the bird says is noise. Some of it is a message. The river keeps its accounts, and it does not forgive.

New chapters weekly.
