The Gusinator

Hi, I’m Gus! At 3 weeks old, a brain injury left me with a neurological condition that makes walking and balancing tricky—I wobble a lot! From the start of my injury, I couldn't control my body. I struggled to get milk from my other siblings. My first owner almost put me down! I was so tiny & still so new to the world, but thanks to social media, I got a second chance. At 4 weeks old, my new humans took me in and nursed me back to health with love and patience. 

They didn't see a broken dog, they saw a fighter. They help me manage my condition every day, even though I’ll never run like other dogs, and I'm socially awkward, I still struggle to walk straight and often tip over like a fuzzy bowling pin, but I’m a happy, healthy pup with a cozy bed, tasty treats, and humans who love me just the way I am. My wobble is my charm, and I’m living proof that love can give a pup like me a new lease on life! Follow my journey as I stumble through life with a big heart and an even bigger spirit!
