THE PETREL STATION PELAGIC SEABIRD TOURS & RESEARCH, NEW ZEALAND - 
Known as one of the world's best full day pelagic seabird trips, The Petrel Station tours (offshore from Tutukaka in northern New Zealand), give birdwatchers and nature lovers an incredible birding experience to see a big diversity of stunning seabirds, with exceptional up close views - any birders dream! 

The trips are part of a long term at-sea seabird sighting research project aiming to identify year-round & seasonal trends in the occurrence & diversity of species found in our area, and will look for any future changes due to impacts from climate change, pollution, fisheries etc. And everyone who comes on a trip helps the research :) 

Apart from watching videos the only way to truly experience seabirds is out on the ocean, in their world. We'll be adding lots of videos to share our experiences of the stunning seabirds we see.
