Welcome to a channel dedicated to the wonder & magic of the odd NORCAL county called Marin, sitting opposite the world famous city of San Francisco, but at 'the other end of the bridge'. I'm solo filmmaker Matt Grimshaw & resident for 12 yrs and I want to show you a 'local' perspective on a place that I love so much, it convinced me to take US Citizenship in 2017. 

From hikes to hotels, running to retail. See the tiny shops, art studios, eateries, towns and places plus of course the EPIC parks of the magical land of Marin and find out about it's complicated history - from the Miwok nation that lived here for countless thousands of years to the post WW2 military's take over of the landscape, that in a historical paradox, might have saved the picturesque place from the hands of developers.
